We aim to nurture each child’s self-awareness of their physical abilities, while developing their technical skills, tactical understanding, overall fitness, and social well-being. All staff are fully qualified, DBS-checked, and trained in first aid, giving parents complete peace of mind. Camp notes
KEY ATHELTA-OLYMPIA CAMP, WORKSHOP OR CLINIC INFORMATION
If attending a Camp, workshop or clinic with us -
• Clothing - Please make sure your child is wearing comfortable sports clothing that allows them to move freely and purposefully in line with the activities they will engaging with.
• Footwear – For all camps, workshops, and clinics if we are using indoor spaces, it will be trainers only, outdoor spaces may require Astro trainers, and for grass activities they will require boots.
• CRICKET OR RUGBY ONLY - Protective wear – Please make sure that for all hard ball cricket practice participants will need full cricket protective equipment including a Box. For all Rugby practice a gum shield and any other protective gear will be required, Please contact camp leader for any questions relating to this.
• Weather – With the weather changes and the potential use of indoor and outdoor space we ask that children have appropriate layers to either change into or use if it is wet.
• Hydration - Please ensure your child has a suitable reusable water bottle with them for all activities.
• Medical – It is a key requirement for all medical information to be provided upon registering and for children to have their medications labelled and brought with them to all camps or workshops.
If attending a full day either as a single day camp or two separate workshops in one day only [Not including term time clinics] -
• Food - Please ensure your child has a packed lunch, with enough snacks and refillable water bottle to last for the day
• Allergies – To ensure the safety of all children We operate a strict NUT FREE policy, please avoid sending any food that contains nuts.
